HCMPH Symposium: The Microbiome and Chronic Diseases

Out of an abundance of caution, the meeting’s stellar group of speakers and posters will again be convening virtually, but we are happy that this allows us to share the meeting globally, free of charge. One of the human microbiome’s best-known roles in population health is through chronic inflammatory diseases, and many of this year’s presentations will focus on this topic: interactions between gastrointestinal microbial communities, chronic environmental exposures such as diet, and long-term health outcomes including inflammation and obesity.
